Cast A Spell In 9 Steps

The most powerfull love spells

When you cast a spell, you focus on your goal and express it to the universe for fulfillment. This can take as little as a few minutes to a few hours and in sometimes, a few days - depending on the strength of intention. To illustrate, consider this spell to attract prosperity:

Keep a green candle in the front room of your house. Light it everyday and say, "Prosperity in here enough to share".
This simple act, done once a day is a spell cast. This prosperity spell can be even more powerful by consecrating the candle in a magical circle:

Pick a green candle big enough to last a full year. Do your consecration ritual at the full moon in August. To attract success and wealth, invoke the deities Dagda and Rhiannon. To make it more appealing to Dagda's, have a plate of wild boar to offer. Have a statue of a horse to please Rhiannon. Use an incense mixture blended for prosperity, and be sure to use summons to the 4 directions that would be pleasing to the magical deities, Dagda and Rhiannon. You will consecrate your green candle in this circle to attract prosperity into your household. Now, the act of lighting the candle every day will activate your ritual working and give the spell life. Repeat this ritual at the same time every year.
In days gone by, spell casting could take weeks. Preparation was lengthy. Spell-casters paid special attention to the phase of the moon, and planetary alignments. Ritual items were made from scratch, with the end goal firmly planted in the mind. These could be robes, tools - such as daggers and cups, candles, herbs for incense - picked at a prescribed time and dried in a specific manner. The spell-caster, or casters often fasted before the ritual, and consumed food or drink during the ritual only to create a specific state consciousness for magical working.

These days of modern conveniences do not allow the time for such elaborate preparations. Even so, you must take spell casting seriously. Ritualized action is important to magically express your wish to the universe.

I consider the 9 steps below essential for casting spells or creating magical objects.
  1. Begin with the end in mind. Before doing any spell casting, know what you want and why you want it. An uncertain goal cannot bring success. Hold your goal firmly in your mind.

  2. Gather the ingredients. Candles, incense and oils activate the senses and help tune the unseen energies to your desire. You can use objects such as photographs, to represent your goal. You can also cut out pictures from magazines to make a collage. Always keep your purpose in mind while collecting or preparing the ingredients for your spell.

  3. Cast a circle. You do this by holding your dominant hand (the hand you write with) with index finger extended, at arms length. See fluorescent blue light flowing from the tip of your finger, and walk to your right. Draw the circle clockwise, even if you are using your left hand. Make it wide enough so that you have space to do your work.

  4. Summon the 4 directions. Once you cast a circle, stay within its limits. Call the energies of the four directions to aid your goal. Turn and face each direction, East, South, West, North. Spirits are summoned by words and actions. While it is preferable to personalize the call to the directions, according to the spell you are about to cast, and the protectors or magical helpers you plan to summon, you may also use a general summon as indicated below:
I summon the East! On wings of air bring swiftness to my prayer
I summon the South! Spirits of fire aid my desire!
I summon the West! Spirits of water, HARK! Take my goal to it's mark!.
I summon the North! Gnomes of the Earth, my goal bring forth!.
When calling the directions, use a loud and commanding voice. Don't invite spirits, command them. However, be sure never to be rude or ungrateful. Towards the end of your spell-casting session, you will thank the 4 directions for their aid. The attitude here is more to the tone of:

"Thank you for doing your work. Go now!" - and not, "Thank you so much for your help, I couldn't have done this without you".

  5. Invoke the protectors or magical helpers. This is a call to a supporting deity, or saint known to be associated with your goal. For example, you may call on Aphrodite's aid in a love spell. It is preferable to know something about a deity before you invoke one. Alternatively, you may call on the universal laws of cause and effect to aid your desire. Here is a general summon to the universe that can be used:
Powers that be, hearken to me
I invoke my right of fulfillment
Support the work I do now

  6. Do the work. Speak your desire, prepare your magical object. This is the core of your magical work.

  7. Dismiss the 4 directions. Beginning in the East and moving counterclockwise, use words and (optional) actions to express thanks the energies of each direction and bid good-bye.

  8. Dismiss the protectors or magical helpers. Use words and (optional) actions to express thanks the deities and energies summoned and bid good-bye.

  9. Dissolve the circle. Beginning in the East and walking counterclockwise, Point your arm, with index finger extended and walk the circumference of your circle. See the blue of your circle dissolve as you walk.
