PendulumDivinatory device. Consists of a string attached to a heavy object (like a quartz, root, or ring.) It is used to determine the answer to a certain question by: holding the free end of the string with the hand, placing the elbow flat against a surface and allowing the object to swindle. When the question is asked, the answer is determined by the objects movement- a rotation indicates a positive energy (or "yes") and the back-forth swinging indicates a negative energy (or a "no.") |
